Edinburgh's Hogmanay - The World's Best New Year Celebrations!

to the world's best New Year celebrations!

From 29 December 2008 through to Thursday 1 January 2009, Edinburgh was the place to see in the New Year! Our four days of events, celebrations, music, dance and street theatre attracted huge crowds from across the globe and, of course, we had the best New Year party in the world!

Congratulations to Gill Rae of Uxbridge in Middlesex who was the lucky winner of the competition to win a Revolution bike courtesy of our friends at Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative. Gill correctly answered the question and was picked at random to win this great prize, worth in excess of £200.

Edinburgh's Hogmanay is a City of Edinburgh Council initiative.
